Dr. Jonathan Ehlers, born and raised in Cole Camp near Tiger Family Dental, attended Cole Camp High School and graduated summa cum laude from Lindenwood University with a degree in Biology while playing baseball.
He later obtained his DDS degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating in 2016 in the top 25 percent of his class. He went on to complete a one-year internship in oral surgery and a dental implant residency.
Driven by a passion for healthcare, dentistry became Dr. Ehlers’ chosen profession due to its unique blend of medicine, art, and engineering. He finds fulfillment in improving patients’ health, self-esteem, and confidence.
His dedication and vision led him to open Tiger Family Dental in the fall of 2016, where he continues to serve the community with personalized, compassionate care.
Dr. Jon lives in Sedalia with his wife, Amanda, and four children, Kaylen (13), Calum (2), and the newest additions to the family, Gemma and Mara who were born in March 2022. Dr. Jon enjoys outdoor activities with his family, working on the farm, drinking bourbon, and all things sports, specifically, Mizzou Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs, and St. Louis Cardinals. Dr. Jon rarely misses a Mizzou or Kansas City Chiefs football game.
