Jonathan Ehlers, DDS

Jonathan Ehlers, DDS

Dr. Jonathan Ehlers, born and raised in Cole Camp near Tiger Family Dental, attended Cole Camp high school and graduated summa cum laude from Lindenwood University with a degree in Biology while playing baseball. Later, he obtained his DDS degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating in 2016 in the top 25 percent of his class. He went on to complete a one-year internship in oral surgery and a dental implant residency. Driven by a passion for healthcare, dentistry became Dr. Ehlers’ chosen profession due to its blend of medicine, art, and engineering. He finds fulfillment in improving patients’ health, self-esteem, and confidence, leading him to open Tiger Family Dental in the fall of 2016.

Dr. Jon lives in Sedalia with his wife, Amanda, and four children, Kaylen (13), Calum (2), and the newest additions to the family, Gemma and Mara who were born in March 2022. Dr. Jon enjoys outdoor activities with his family, working on the farm, drinking bourbon, and all things sports, specifically, Mizzou Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs, and St. Louis Cardinals. Dr. Jon rarely misses a Mizzou or Kansas City Chiefs football game.

Dr. Jon specializes in comprehensive dental implant procedures and stays at the forefront of this field, transforming the lives of patients with missing teeth.

Erin Coleman, DDS

Erin Coleman, DDS

Dr. Coleman earned her dental degree from the Indiana University School Dentistry in 2009. After graduation, she was awarded with membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Additionally, she maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, and Missouri Dental Association.

She joined a large practice in Indianapolis after graduation from dental school as an associate dentist and then decided to open her own practice after gaining several years of experience in a rapid growing, fast paced office. In 2020 she moved to Missouri and joined Tiger Family Dental. In her spare time she loves gardening, boating, and spending time with her husband, Josh, and their 4 children.

Dr. Coleman has taken numerous postgraduate education courses, including training in pediatric dentistry and adult sedation dentistry. This allows her to provide you and your entire family with comprehensive care and comfortable visits. Her commitment to lifelong education means she is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide her patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort.

Office Manager

Holly was born and raised here in Sedalia but moved away for a few years when she enlisted in the Air Force. She returned home in 2005 to raise her son, Jacob. Holly completed her Associates degree in Health Administrative Services as well as her certification for Dental Billing Specialist. She has many years of dental knowledge and continues to grow with continuing education. Holly loves spending time with her family; Chris, Jacob, and their dog Khloe. She enjoys golfing, baking, and spending time at the family cabin.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Leah resides in Sedalia with her family of four. She started the dental hygiene program with the hopes to make more people love a visit to the dental office. She studied at and graduated from State Fair Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program. She continues to keep up to date in all patient care techniques, assuring patients a comfortable visit. Her strive for quality care and love of family makes her the perfect fit for Tiger Family Dental.

Tonia

Registered Dental Hygienist

Tonia received her training to be a registered dental hygienist from State Fair Community College in 2010 and is now certified in laser treatment. It’s important to her to help patients feel good about themselves and improve their overall health.

Outside of the office, she loves tending to her garden, refurbishing old furniture, going boating on the lake, and spending time with her family and dog.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jenny is from Sedalia, MO and she studied at State Fair Community College where she got her AAS Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. Jenny loves making sure her patients are educated on their oral health, and wants to provide them with the best experience possible.

In her spare time, Jenny loves spending time with her family. She enjoys coaching soccer, staying active, and being outdoors.

Ashley, EFDA

Lead Dental Assistant

Ashley, her husband, and son currently reside just outside Warrensburg, and were brought to Missouri by the Air Force in 2017. They all love the area and decided to plant their roots here. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, being at the motocross track, and spending time with her family and two dogs. Dentistry has been a part of Ashley’s life since 2012 and it continues to be her passion. Her main goal is to change patients’ outlook on going to the dentist by making the entire experience more comfortable and stress free. She is currently working towards more of her expanded functions certifications, and is honored to be apart of such an amazing dental family here at Tiger Family Dental.

Madalynn, CDA, EFDA

Dental Assistant

Madalynn, her husband Brody, and their chocolate lab reside in Knob Noster. She graduated high school in 2020 and continued her education at The State Technical College of Missouri. She studied Dental Assisting Technology and graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant with four(4) expanded functions in 2022. Madalynn’s favorite part of dentistry is the ability to help others feel confident and the variety of different procedures.

Receptionist

Sheila lives in Smithton, but has been a resident of Pettis County nearly her whole life. She is one of the first faces patients will see when they walk in the door at Tiger Family Dental. Her favorite part of her day is getting patients scheduled for their dental appointments. In her free time, she enjoys creating, art, home decor, refinishing furniture, including woodworking, and most of all home improvements. She believes in giving back to the community and has been a volunteer sewing leader with Pettis County 4-H for 19 years. She loves local high school basketball!

Sara is our newest smile here at the office! She was born and raised in Cole Camp and now resides in Lincoln with her husband on his family farm. There she cares for her four daughters, Presley, Sloane, Allie and Audrey. She enjoys being outside with her kids, checking their cows, watching her husband tractor pull and spending time with friends and family.

Amber is a Sedalia native that graduated from SFCC Dental Hygiene program in 2015. She is committed to providing high quality dental care with a focus on patient comfort along with educating her patients on how to achieve a healthier smile. When she’s away from the office Amber loves staying active, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and three children.

Dental Assistant

Kaitlyn is from Cole Camp, MO where she graduated high school in 2020 and soon after joined the Missouri National Guard. She has served her state for just over three years. Kaitlyn did on the job training for dental assisting and then furthered her education to receive her Missouri basic skills and is currently working on receiving her expanded functions.

In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her niece and nephew, fishing and being on the boat.

Haley is from Lincoln, MO and currently resides in Windsor, MO with her fiancé Landon. She graduated from State Fair Community College in 2023 after obtaining her degree in Business Administration and Management. Shortly after graduating she joined our practice and has excelled at learning all things dental. Haley enjoys being outside, spending time with her friends and family, going on vacation, and spoiling all of her nieces and nephews.

Megan currently resides in Otterville. She recently graduated highschool in 2023 and was eager to start in the dental field. It is important to Megan that all patients feel welcome and are comfortable in the dental chair. She enjoys reading, spending time with family, and being outdoors.

Jessica was born and raised in Sedalia, she lives just outside of town with her husband and two beautiful daughters. When she’s not busy at our office she is with her family riding motorcycles, going to Royals games, at the drag races, or just hanging outside. She has always had a passion for teeth and smiles from a young age, due to having many dental treatments growing up. At this time she is working towards having all of her expanded functions to be able to do more for our patients. She always strives to make everyone that comes into our office comfortable, by making them laugh, and to enjoy their smile.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelsey graduated from the SFCC Dental Hygiene program in 2021, and received her laser certification shortly after starting her career with Tiger Family Dental. She loves helping people feel confident about their smile and teaching them how to improve their oral health.

Kelsey lives on her small farm near Sedalia with her husband, Luke, and three kids, where they raise sheep and chickens. She loves spending time with her family, gardening, and baking. She enjoys making sourdough bread in her spare time for her small business, Our Daily Bread.
